You can START one, but you eventually will have a label or name.
Our chat yesterday was a very good one. We started by exploring the possibility of having a movement catch on without any branding whatsoever. Would it still attract people? Would you be able to promote it with just your actions? Thanks to all who joined in and added their input.

December started on a Saturday. A bummer for any millennial. Waking up early on a Saturday to do something cool? Sometimes it’s hard (depending on your Friday night).
But it was the start of #MCgivesback Month!
Keying back into the roots of Millennial Chat, you can join us all month in giving back to great non-profit organizations that help give back to our world and communities. Each week a different organization will be highlighted, and we will chat from someone at that organization during our chat hour on Thursdays from 3:30pm-4:30pm EST.
Week 1: Mobilize.org
A great millennial-run organization, Mobilize is built on the fundamental that in order to create long-term, sustainable and community based solutions to the challenges facing our generation, Millennials (young adults born between the years 1976 and 1996) must authentically engage their peers in identifying problems, proposing solutions, and most importantly, must work together to implement these solutions on their campuses and in their communities.
MIllennial Chat is a weekly Twitter Chat held on Tuesday from 1pm - 2pm EST.
Topics range from internships to philanthropy; social media to graduate school; and beyond!
Follow the #millennialchat hashtag to connect with others from our generation who are going through the same experiences as you!
