We are back in action. Today!
No facelift. We didn’t change our style. But the chat will be more direct in trying to serve the needs of our generation.
When it comes to a Twitter chat, we found that it is hard to draw an engaged crowd when you announce the chat topic on the DAY OF THE CHAT! I got lazy and didn’t do very well at planning. So that is the first approach that was changed. I will announce monthly themes and subtopics of that theme will be determined at the start of that month. This way, if you are interested in a topic, then you can carve out time to make it.

Another different aspect is a slimmer Millennial Chat team. A few of our bloggers, like many millennials, got REALLY busy because they are working hard and seeing success! At no fault of their own, there is just not enough time in the day to contribute to Millennial Chat as a blogger for them. We slimmed down the team, and we will have more direction in our posts because of the monthly themes. Take a look at who is still on the MC TEAM!
Our third and final change is more so on the back end of things. I am lucky enough to have two, very talented millennial women join me in taking the reigns of a couple aspects of Millennial Chat. I want to say thank you, and you all should say HELLO to:
- Aleah Rosario (@opptobe): She will be taking care of rounding up our bloggers and keeping them on task, as well as be the point of contact for those of you who would like to guest post.
- Larkin Grant (@larkingrant): She will be heading up our FACEBOOK PAGE. Our Facebook page has not seen much engagement, but I am sure that will change when Larkin puts her skills into it!
